Signs of Ants

• ⚠ Visible ant trails along baseboards, countertops, window sills, or foundations
• ⚠ Small mounds of dirt or sand near foundations, in lawn areas, or between pavers
• ⚠ Winged ants emerging indoors, which may indicate a mature colony inside the structure
• ⚠ Sawdust-like frass near wooden structures, which can indicate carpenter ant activity

Prevention Tips

• ✓ Clean up food crumbs and spills immediately, and store sweet and greasy foods in airtight containers
• ✓ Trim tree branches and shrubs so they do not touch the exterior walls or roof of your home
• ✓ Seal cracks in the foundation and gaps around windows, doors, and utility lines
• ✓ Eliminate standing water and fix moisture problems in crawl spaces and around the foundation
• ✓ Apply a perimeter granular bait treatment around the yard to suppress colony populations
